Tripoli, Libya's Libyan Air Cargo is an inactive cargo airline. It provides all-cargo services and is the cargo division of Libyan Airlines. Tripoli International Airport is its primary base. It serves Asian, African, and European destinations. The airline was founded in 1979 under the name United African Airlines. In 1982, it changed its name to Jamahiriya Air Transport, and in 1993, it merged with Libyan Air Cargo. In 2002, it became the first airline outside of Russia and Ukraine to fly the Antonov An-124, which is the world's second-largest aircraft.
