Qatar Airways, the state-owned flag carrier airline of Qatar, operates under the name International Courier & Cargo Service For Qatar. The airline has its headquarters in the Qatar Airways Tower in Doha. It operates a hub-and-spoke network, using a fleet of more than 200 aircraft to fly to over 150 international destinations in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Oceania from Hamad International Airport. Over 43,000 people are employed by Qatar Airways Group. Since October 2013, the airline has been a member of the Oneworld alliance. It was the first airline in the Persian Gulf to join one of the three major airline alliances.
