The first customer of the Ilyushin Il-114 was Uzbekistan Airways; The initial, locally constructed aircraft was delivered to it in July 1998. In April 1999, two additional Boeing 757-200s were directly ordered from Boeing. The first of these two 184-seat Boeing 757-200 aircraft was purchased by the business in the latter part of 1999.
